D A Y - 5 (P.M)

Another tip off in my personalized guide to the city was to go and visit the polar bears in the Zoo in central park. This was my first glimpse of the phenomenonally big piece of green in the centre of the city. It was just like in the movies, and i couldn't help but walk with a skip in my step, there were joggers crossing over from side to side, horse drawn carriages trotting along the roads and a wedding ceremony taking place between some of the massive rocks which are everywhere.
After Queuing (or waiting in line) and paying my $10, it was time to check out some animals. After walking around this seemingly small zoo for 3 hours, i had seen a load of puffins and penquins and tropical birds as well as snakes, lizards and pirahnas. But by far the best part was the Polar Bears, you could see one of them swimming back and forth from under the water, i could have stood there all day. (i took a little film of this, i will try and put it up.)
